My forthcoming book, With Trees, is now available to pre-order at www.withtrees.co.uk.
I have now finalised the specification for the book – and I’m pleased to announce that we are now producing the book using stochastic printing. ‘Brilliant!’ I hear you cry – ‘what’s stochastic printing?!’ Well, rather than using a tradition CMYK screen, stochastic uses a random arrangement of dots which results in a printed image which is closer to photograph quality – so now you know! We are also rather pleased that the book will be printed in Europe as apposed to China as was previously planned – we figure Europe is in greater need to our money. This also means that we can check printing on press so we can maintain the greatest quality possible. As previously mentioned on the blog – there will be two special editions of With Trees; a luxury edition which comes with 3 signed prints that won’t be available elsewhere, and a special edition with one print. Both of these editions come in a foil blocked box. All books ordered before its launch in July will also be signed.
I’m also pleased to confirm that the foreword for the book will be by David Ward.
